Celebrity Cruises’ Celebrity Eclipse is to be renovated ahead of her sixth consecutive summer season in Southampton, UK.
Celebrity Eclipse, which has been based at the British port since her launch in 2010, will offer new onboard venues and upgraded interiors when she re-enters service after her drydock in May 2015.
Similar to her sister ship Celebrity Equinox, the vessel will feature Slush, a frozen drinks bar. Located by the pool, the bar will offer a variety of frozen non-alcoholic and alcoholic cocktails.
Replacing Cellar Masters is Gastrobar, a premium craft beer and food venue that will offer more than 40 handcrafted boutique beers, wines and cocktails. The gastro-style menu will be provided on iPads, which will also include an app for guests to select their ideal food and drink pairings. Gastrobar will also offer music and entertainment.
In addition, Celebrity Eclipse will also feature a new private portrait photo studio, as well as a restyled bar, British-themed slot machines and European roulette wheels in the casino.
The refurbishment will coincide with the launch of Celebrity Cruises’ new Suite Class offering, which enables suite guests to dine in a suites-only restaurant, relax in the VIP lounge, and enjoy complimentary ‘all in’ benefits such as premium beverages, dining at any speciality restaurant and unlimited internet access. Suite guests will also receive priority check-in and embarkation and will have access to a 24-hour personal butler.

From 9 May 2015 throughout the summer season, Celebrity Eclipse will offer seven- to 15-night cruises from Southampton to a range of Mediterranean destinations, such as Portugal, Spain and Italy. The vessel will also sail Scandinavia and Russia.
