Regal Princess will embark on Princess Cruises’ largest Australia season yet in October 2020, following her first UK season.
After sailing 12-day itineraries from Southampton to destinations around the British Isles between May and early October 2020, Regal Princess will embark on a 56-day cruise to Sydney, Australia.
The ‘Four Continents Grand Adventure’ will span Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Australasia. Departing 7 October 2020, Regal Princess will stop at: Seville, Cadiz; Gibraltar; Mallorca and Barcelona, Spain; Toulon/Provence, France; Florence/Pisa, Rome, Naples and Sicily, Italy; Santorini and Rhodes, Greece; a two-day transit of the Suez Canal; Aqaba, Jordan; Abu Dhabi; Dubai, United Arab Emirates; Muscat, Oman; Colombo, Sri Lianka; Kuala Lumpur; Singapore; Ko Samui and Bangkok, Thailand; Darwin, Port Douglas and Brisbane, Australia. Guests will also be able to join the ship for shorter segments of the journey – including Southampton to Dubai and Rome to Sydney
“The ‘Four Continents Grand Adventure’ will be a spectacular voyage and the perfect send-off for Regal Princess once her UK season comes to a close,” said Tony Roberts, vice president of Princess Cruises UK and Europe. “We’re confident that having the full 56-day cruise available, as well as various shorter options, means it will appeal to a wide number of holidaymakers who are keen to explore a diverse range of destinations.”
Once in Australia, Regal Princess will sail alongside sister ship, Majestic Princess, between December 2020 and April 2021, marking the first time that Princess Cruises will sail two Royal Class ships from the same port outside the Caribbean. This will mark a 40% increase in Princess Cruises’ capacity from Sydney compared to the 2018-2019 summer season.
