Regent Seven Seas Cruises is to debut a new spa brand, Serene Spa & Wellness, across its five-ship fleet this winter. The menu of services will offer treatments that reflect the 450 destinations to which the cruise line sails, integrating techniques and ingredients from around the world.
The service will first be introduced on Seven Seas Explorer on 7 December 2019, and will be extended across all five of the Regent ships, including the new Seven Seas Splendor, which will sail her maiden voyage in February 2020.
In addition to traditional spa services, Serene Spa & Wellness will provide exclusive treatments such as the ‘Around the World Massage’, which combines Chinese basalt, Caribbean coconut poultice and Asian bamboo with Swedish massage movements in a therapy designed to promote wellness.
Services will also extend beyond the spa venue, with fitness experts providing exercise classes and one-on-one training, onboard restaurants offering nutritional dishes and curated shore excursions that are designed to enhance wellness.
A Serene Spa & Wellness Hydrothermal Suite will also be available on Seven Seas Splendor and Seven Seas Explorer. It will include an aromatherapy steam room, a chill room, an infrared sauna and experiential showers.
“Regent is deeply inspired by the peace and serenity that can be found in every region of our globe, and we are bringing the beautiful traditions and tried-and-true techniques of the world’s cultures into the exclusive experiences of Serene Spa & Wellness,” said Jason Montague, president and CEO of Regent Seven Seas Cruises. “We originally developed this innovative experience for Seven Seas Splendor in our pursuit to perfect luxury for our newest ship, and then decided to expand Serene Spa & Wellness for guests to embark on a global journey of relaxation on all Regent ships.”
