Resorts World Cruises’ newest ship, Resorts World One, is to homeport in Kaohsiung for the first time from April 2023, now that Taiwan has lifted Covid-19 travel restrictions.

The ship will sail two- and three-night roundtrips from Hong Kong to Kaohsiung and will also offer two, three- and four-night cruises from Kaohsiung to Hong Kong.

Guests departing Hong Kong on the three-night Sunday cruise will have the option of disembarking in Kaohsiung on the Monday to enjoy a three-night land stay in Taiwan before re-embarking on the Thursday to return to Hong Kong.

Likewise, guests departing from Kaohsiung on Thursdays will be able to disembark in Hong Kong for a two-night land stay before re-embarking on the Sunday.

“Hong Kong and Kaohsiung will both benefit from the increased number of passengers carried by Resorts World One and increased fly-cruise and rail-cruise passengers, who will have pre and post cruise stays in either destination,” said Tan Sri Lim Kok Thay, executive chairman of Resorts World Cruises.

Resorts World One will make 78 calls to Kaohsiung and 126 calls to Hong Kong in 2023.
