Royal Caribbean International’s Allure of the Seas is set to offer guests European summer holidays, when she sets sail from Barcelona, Spain in May 2020 following an extensive refurbishment.
As part of the cruise line’s US$1 billion Royal Amplified fleet modernisation programme, Allure of the Seas will be fitted with the same amenities onboard her sister ship Oasis of the Seas. After the 58-day, US$165 million transformation, passengers will be able to enjoy a range of new eateries and bars. There will also be new activities for babies, children and teenagers, and additional musical entertainment in the Music Hall and karaoke bar.
Allure of the Seas’ European itineraries will begin on 10 May with a seven-night Western Mediterranean cruise, calling in destinations such as Palma de Mallorca, Spain; Provence, France; and Florence, Pisa, Rome and Naples, Italy.
In November 2020, Allure of the Seas will reposition to Miami, Florida for the winter. Sailing from Royal Caribbean’s Terminal A, the reimagined ship will offer seven-night Eastern and Western Caribbean cruises, many of which will include visits to the line’s private island in The Bahamas, Perfect Day at CocoCay.
