Web-based and cloud-ready, cruisePAL is a suite of solutions offering modern functionalities to the cruise industry for better operational efficiency and enhanced customer service.

The cruisePAL Ship Management System (SMS) and Point of Sale (POS) modules help users to manage onboard hotel operations, including reservations, checking guests in and out, and handling daily tasks.

cruisePAL POS can be used in bars, restaurants, boutiques, casinos, spas and concessionary outlets. It provides immediate sales visibility, supports discounts and fees. The accompanying POS management module facilitates inventory deductions, product management and sales reporting. It allows for centralised setup and synchronisation of data between onboard and onshore systems. The historical data analysis functionality also helps to ensure optimal inventory management.

The inventory module is tailored to improve cruise lines’ material flow, from sourcing to procurement across various stock items, such as food and beverage, uniforms and items in onboard boutiques. It also provides real-time POS updates and offers advanced demand planning and forecasting by using historical data for insights based on factors such as region and age group.

Another module is cruisePAL Central Supply Chain management, which synchronises data between the shore and the ship, making it easy to create products, adjust pricing and document inventory. The cruisePAL suite also offers a procurement module that automatically converts order requests into purchase orders based on competitive bids, streamlining the procurement cycle.

“Any cruise line can grow their business with confidence using cruisePAL scalable solutions,” says Peter Winqvist, CEO of Rescompany. “With cruisePAL flexible deployment options and scalable architecture, they can easily expand the operations and accommodate future growth without disruption.”
