Seabourn Cruises’ Seabourn Sojourn is to visit various remote West African destinations this autumn.
Accommodating 458 guests, the line’s Odyssey-class vessel will sail a 32-day ‘South Africa Line Voyage’ calling at the islands of Cape Verde, Bom Bom Island and the coasts of Namibia, Angola and Senegal.
The ship will call at regions such as Praia in Cape Verde, enabling guests to visit the Santo Domingos villages, the iconic Cape Verdean Botanic Gardens and the Se Cathedral Nossa Senhora da Graça.
Located off the coast of Principe, Bom Bom Island is connected to the mainland by a wooden walkway, allowing cruise guests to visit Obo National Park and explore the region’s colonial past. A stopover in Lüderitz, Namibia, gives guests the chance to spot local wildlife including seals, penguins, flamingos and ostriches.
Other destinations included on the itinerary include Morocco, Senegal, Gambia, Angola and South Africa.
