Seabourn will introduce Penthouse Spa Suites designed by Norwegian architects Yran & Storbraaten on three of its ships, Seabourn Quest, Seabourn Odyssey and Seabourn Sojourn, during their next scheduled dry docks.

The suites will be located above the line’s Spa at Seabourn facilities and feature an in-suite bar, a living and dining area with seating, bedroom, walk-in wardrobe, floor-to-ceiling windows onto a private veranda, a bathroom with a spa shower, and two flat-screen TVs.

Passengers will have access to a spa concierge and the spa’s Serene Area, which features heated lounges, an aroma steam bath with salt inhalation and a herbal bath.

Seabourn Odyssey will feature a large hydro-pool in the Serene Area, while Seabourn Quest and Seabourn Sojourn feature a Kneipp Walk Pool, which provides holistic, water therapy treatment and healing remedies designed to enhance circulation.

“A growing number of our guests choose Seabourn’s new ships specifically because of our beautiful onboard Spa at Seabourn facilities,” said Seabourn president Richard Meadows. “Some of these guests have expressed a desire to incorporate a more complete spa vacation experience into their cruises, and our Penthouse Spa Suites are designed to fulfil that wish.”

Seabourn Quest, will be the first of the ships to have four of the suites when it returns from dry dock in May 2013.
