T. Mariotti transports hull from its San Giorgio di Nogaro yard to its facilities in Genoa for final outfitting

Seabourn Venture, Seabourn’s first purpose-built expedition cruise ship, has moved a step closer to completion now that its hull has been moved to T. Mariotti’s shipyard in Genoa, Italy for final outfitting.
The hull was constructed at T. Mariotti’s San Giorgio di Nogaro shipyard and has been built up to deck nine. The team has already fitted engines, generators and the main engine room equipment. Once complete, it was loaded onto a barge and embarked on the 1,200-nautical-mile trip to Genoa on 30 March.
“We are proud to have reached such an important milestone of the project and are very excited to see finally such a beauty in her hull and superstructures form now visible,” said Marco Ghiglione, managing director for T. Mariotti. “We really thank everyone, with no exceptions, that worked with us to get to this point. Now, we can’t wait to receive Seabourn Venture in Genova for the completion.”
Seabourn Venture is expected to debut in Norway in winter 2022.
