Steve Wozniak, co-founder of Apple computer, and Lord Digby Jones, former director-general of the Confederation of British Industry and Minister of State for UK Trade and Investment, are to join Seabourn Cruises’ onboard enrichment programme.

Both Wozniak and Lord Jones will participate in the Seabourn Conversations entertainment programme, providing onboard presentations about their work and experiences. They will also share meals with guests, join groups for shore excursions and hold casual chats throughout their respective voyages.

“The art of conversation is a key element onboard our ships, and nowhere will the chatter be more listenable than on Seabourn Odyssey when Steve Wozniak and Lord Digby Jones start the dialogue,” said John Delaney, Seabourn’s senior vice president of marketing and sales. “We’re very excited to welcome both dignitaries and allow our guests to enjoy their insights and knowledge.”

Wozniak will join guests on the Seabourn Odyssey’s 16-day ‘Holiday Australia and New Zealand’ cruise, which departs Sydney, Australia, on 21 December 2014 and arrives in Auckland, New Zealand, on 4 January 2015. He will highlight his involvement in developing the hardware, circuit board designs and operating system for the Apple I personal computer. Awarded the National Medal of Technology in 1985, Wozniak was inducted into the Inventors Hall of Fame in 2000 and released his autobiography iWoz: From Computer Geek to Cult Icon: How I invented the Personal Computer, Co-Founded Apple and Had Fun Doing It in 2006.

Lord Jones will sail on Seabourn Odyssey’s 16-day ‘Jewels of India & Arabia’ voyage, which departs Singapore on 23 March 2015 and finishes in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Knighted in 2005, Lord Jones became member of the House of Lords in 2007 and is currently Business Ambassador at UK Trade & Investment, chairman of Triumph Motorcycles and corporate ambassador for Jaguar Cars.
