Seabourn is to offer the Denali Experience, an exclusive and optional onshore adventure, to every guest sailing on one of Seabourn Sojourn’s Ultimate Alaska voyages this summer.
Marking the first time Seabourn has sailed in Alaska for 15 years, the Denali Experience is a fully escorted four-day overland excursion that will enable guests to tour Denali National Park before or after their cruise.
Highlights of the Denali Experience include a journey along the Turnagain Arm waterway from Seward to Anchorage, where guests will board a flightseeing plane for an aerial tour of glaciers, sheer rock faces, crevassed rivers of ice, and the highest peaks of Denali National Park. They will then be able to enjoy dinner and an evening at McKinley Chalet Resort, set on the banks of the Nenana River.
Following this, guests will be able to join a guide to look for wildlife in Denali National Park, and take a scenic railway journey from Denali National Park to Anchorage. Upon arrival, guests will be able to have dinner at Crow’s Nest Restaurant, which offers 360-degree views of the Chugach Range.
“We are excited to offer our guests the opportunity to extend their Seabourn adventure in Alaska and explore even more of the beautiful inland region with this custom land tour,” said Richard Meadows, president of Seabourn. “The Denali Experience will be filled with exceptional opportunities to discover the essence of Alaska, with an itinerary delivered in true Seabourn style for the luxury traveller who wants a complete land and sea experience.”
Seabourn will offer a series of 11-, 12- and 14-day itineraries sailing from Vancouver, British Columbia, and Anchorage onboard Seabourn Sojourn this summer.
