Sembawang Shipyard, Asia’s largest shipyard for cruise ship vessel repair and refurbishment, is to exhibit at the third annual Cruise Shipping Asia-Pacific conference and trade show.

The event will offer the opportunity for Australasia-based suppliers in the ship repair, refurbishment and design sectors to capitalise on the increasing number of cruise operators homeporting ships in Asia and Australia.

Suppliers from a range of related industries will also be represented at the event including those providing safety and security, ship and port infrastructure services.

Other exhibitors include Aerobytes, which provides monitoring systems to increase operational safety, security and efficiency. Also returning in 2013 will be Latitude 1 Maritime, which supplies steel work, pipe fitting, electrical installations, IT networks and surveillance systems for cruise projects at various Asian and global shipyards.

Daniel Read, portfolio director for UBM Live, said: “As the only show focused on the entire Asia-Pacific region, we are expecting quite an enormous turnout this year.”

Cruise Shipping Asia-Pacific will be presented by UBM Live and held on 8-10 October 2013 in Singapore,
