Regent Seven Sea Cruises’ (RSSC) latest newbuild is to make her North American debut on 2 December 2016 when she sails into PortMiami.

Seven Seas Explorer will arrive at the port as part of her 16-night ‘Atlantic Retreat’ cruise from Rome in Italy, which will include calls at Toulon in France, Barcelona in Spain and Funchal in Portugal, as well as an overnight in King’s Wharf, Bermuda.

The ship will then sail two roundtrips from PortMiami as part of her inaugural Caribbean season. On 4 December, the vessel will depart on a 14-night ‘Serene Islands: Roundtrip Miami’ itinerary, enabling guests to visit Aruba, Venezuela and more.

She will then offer a ten-night ‘Caribbean Dawn: Roundtrip Miami’ on 18 December, taking guests to St. Barts, Turks & Caicos, the British Virgin Islands and several other Caribbean islands.

Following these roundtrips, Seven Seas Explorer will head west on a ‘Grand Canal Crossing: Miami to Los Angeles’, which departs on 28 December. During the 16-night voyage, the ship will transit the Panama Canal and take guests to the mangrove forests of Puntarenas in Costa Rica, the UNESCO World Heritage Site of La Antigua near Puerto Quetzal in Guatemala, and El Arco in Cabo San Lucas.

Seven Seas Explorer, which is currently under construction at the Fincantieri in Genoa, Italy, is due to launch in July 2016 and will sail a 14-night maiden voyage from Monte Carlo to Venice in Italy on 20 July.

The 56,000gt, all-suite, all-balcony ship boasts the highest space ratio in the cruise industry and will accommodate 750 guests. She will also feature RSSC’s first 3,875 sq ft suite, as well as lounges, gourmet restaurants and more.
