Regent Seven Seas Cruises (RSSC) has completed a bow-to-stern upgrade of Seven Seas Voyager as part of its US$125 million fleet-wide upgrade programme.
During the 25-day dry dock, the ship joins Seven Seas Navigator as the second ship to receive new interiors in public spaces and suites.
Highlights include contemporary décor in the Penthouse, Concierge and Deluxe Suites; a new infrared barbeque grill at the Pool Grill; and new crystal chandeliers, wooden accents, blue furnishings and a customisable menu in the Compass Rose restaurant. In addition, La Veranda has been reconfigured so that its buffet is open to both sides of the restaurant and features a new cook-to-order grill station. Meanwhile, Voyager Lounge was redecorated to resemble a modern French cabaret lounge with champagne-coloured chandeliers, crimson loveseats and oversized windows. The ship also now features Chartreuse, which has new furnishings, china, flooring and décor elements inspired by the Chartreuse on Seven Seas Explorer, along with a completely new menu.
Other updated public areas include the reception area, Coffee Connection, Connoisseur Lounge, Card Room, boutiques, casino and the Canyon Ranch SpaClub.
“Our fleet-wide renovation brings a new level of elegance to the Regent Seven Seas Cruises fleet,” said Jason Montague, president and CEO at RSSC. “The minute I stepped on the newly refurbished Seven Seas Voyager, I was blown away by the luxurious décor and intricate design details. This ship looks unequivocally better today than the day it was delivered from the shipyard, and exquisitely represents the continued evolution of the RSSC brand.”
Seven Seas Voyager also offers five new productions in the Constellation Theatre. They include Tuxedo, Lights, Camera, Music!, Broadway in Concert , Vegas! The Show, and Dancin’ Fool .
