Shining a light on safety

In 1976, EVAL began producing a range of boat accessories and in 1980 the company introduced lifesaving equipment to its product range. Today the company’s product portfolio includes a full range of safety equipment such as lifejackets, inflatable lifejackets, lifebuoys and lifebuoy lights, buoyancy aids carrying the CE marking as well as an extended range of boat accessories.

All of the lifejackets in the company’s SOLAS certified range – SOLAS 74, Life Saving Appliance Code, 96/98/EC IMO MSC.200(80) and MSC.207(81) – incorporate ergonomic design and high quality materials and are thoroughly tested for added safety at sea.

The up-to-date production line allows EVAL to offer its SOLAS lifejacket at a competitive price. The jackets are available in three sizes (infant, child and adult/overweight) and are fitted with a whistle and two belt positions for attaching a light. EVAL has recently launched an automatic lifejacket light that incorporates a water sensor.

Our inflatable lifejacket combines small size with comfort in a stylish design and complies with European regulations in accordance with standard CE EN ISO12402-3 / 150N. EVAL’s safety equipment is the result of continuous research and development procedures and compliance with high ergonomic and safety requirements. In addition, they have been tested in real conditions over a long period of time and have been proven very resistant to wear in at-sea conditions.

Our company is proud of its quality control department, which is well equipped and staffed with specialised engineers. Adherence to regulations is ensured as every single lot sample is thoroughly tested before entering the market. Continuous cooperation with our Notified Bodies also creates a safe base for the quality of our products.

The utmost issue for us is our commitment to ensure human life at sea. Our persistence in this aim has placed EVAL among the most reliable European producers of lifesaving equipment with dynamic export activity worldwide.
