Silver Galapagos refit complete

Silversea Cruises’ all-suite Silver Galapagos has returned to service following a month-long renovation drydock in Panama.

The 100-guest Silver Galapagos underwent an initial partial refurbishment last year, during which the line installed new in-suite bathrooms, a fitness centre, massage room, beauty salon, outdoor Jacuzzi, and Silversea’s signature outdoor dining venue, The Grill.

Following the September drydock, all of the ship’s suites, corridors and the Explorer’s Lounge have been refurbished and feature a blue and beige colour palette to reflect the interior décor of the recently refurbished Silver Discoverer.

Every Saturday Silver Galapagos departs on seven-day voyages round the Galápagos Islands, following either a western or north central route. Guests can enjoy complimentary shore excursions guided by an experienced expedition team that has been certified by the Galápagos National Park Service. During these excursions, guests will be able to see sun-basking land iguanas, giant tortoises, blue- and red-footed boobies, colourful marine iguanas, sea lions, penguins and Darwin’s finches.
