Silversea Cruise Line’s Silver Whisper is to be renovated between 8 and 19 December in Freeport, The Bahamas.
Public spaces and guest accommodation onboard Silver Whisper will be enhanced with similar interior designs and features to those onboard Silversea’s recently delivered flagship Silver Muse, as well as on Silver Spirit, which is currently undergoing a significant renovation.
New carpets will be laid in the hallways, main restaurant, casino, conference room, main bar and in the theatre. The main restaurant will undergo a full upgrade, while La Dame will benefit from new curtains and a polished floor. The curtains and chairs in the casino and conference room will also be upgraded, while the Zagara Spa will be equipped with new furniture and equipment. Updated machinery will be installed in the onboard gym.
Nine Terrace suites on deck five will be transformed into Veranda suites, offering guests enhanced privacy and amenities such as 40-inch flat-screen televisions with interactive media systems. All bathrooms will be revitalised with polished granite surfaces.
Outside, storage space for Zodiac boats and a crane will be installed in preparation for the addition of motorboats ahead of Silver Whisper’s World Cruise in 2020, which will take guests to destinations in all seven continents.
