Asian cruise operator Star Cruises has revised its fleet schedule for the 2014-2015 season.

While SuperStar Virgo will continue to homeport in Hong Kong, from 4 October, the ship will replace her existing itineraries with a daily one-night ‘South China Sea’ cruise.

“With the new itinerary, our customers will have more flexibility and opportunities to experience cruising with a short getaway cruise itinerary, a wide array of entertainment choices coupled with luxury accommodation and world-class culinary,” said Star Cruises in a written statement.

From 2 November 2014 to 29 March 2015, SuperStar Gemini will introduce new cruise
itineraries departing from Singapore to Malaysia including a four-day cruise to Penang and Langkawi, and a four-day trip to Penang and Port Klang. The ship will also sail separate three-day itineraries to Port Klang and Melaka, as well as a three-day ‘High Seas’ cruise.

Passengers who had pre-booked to sail on the ships’ original itineraries have been asked to call booking agents.
