MHG Medical Management Services is to provide medical consulting and project development services for Asian cruise operator Star Cruises.
Working in collaboration with the cruise line, MHG Medical will develop medical policies and procedures, establish standardised prescription formularies and revise the fleet’s Outbreak and Response Plan.
“MHG Medical completed a substantial project for Star Cruises in 2013 and we are pleased to extend the association” said Captain Havard Ramsoy, vice president of nautical operations, Star Cruises (HK). “We are looking forward to further collaboration with the MHG Medical team and the resulting enhancements to our medical operation.”
In addition, MHG Medical will provide design consultation services and recommendations for the medical centre and equipment during the construction phase of the line’s newbuilds, which will be delivered in 2016 and 2017.
