Star Cruises’ flagship SuperStar Virgo has started her new twice-weekly cruise schedule from Nansha in Guangzhou, the largest city of the Guangdong province in Southern China.

SuperStar Virgo, which sailed her first cruise from Nansha on 3 January 2016, will provide three-day cruises from Nansha to Hong Kong and alternate six-day voyages from Nansha to Halong Bay and Da Nang in Vietnam, and Sanya in Hainan.

To mark the ship’s new itinerary, Star Cruises has prepared a series of new entertainment options. This will include weekly live performances from music artists from Hong Kong and Taiwan, including Richie Ren, Andy Hui, Michael Wong, Tiger Huang, Michael Tse, William So, Edwin Siu, Johnny Yip and Bo Luk in The Lido. Guests will also be able to watch magic shows performed by French illusionist Vincent Vignaud, as well as Broadway opera ‘Memory Lane’, and musical ‘1001 Nights’.

In addition, Star Cruises has partnered with ZOUK club to introduce ‘Beatship by Zouk’, a nightclub-style party, which will enable guests to enjoy DJs, live acts and performers while onboard SuperStar Virgo.

Meanwhile, Michelin-starred cuisine will be served in Kam's Kitchen, Sun Tung Lok Chinese Cuisine, and Yè Shanghai. The ship’s bars and restaurants will also offer seasonal themed cuisine from 15 January.
