Global maritime safety company Survitec Group has partnered with Servaux Safety & Ship Services to better serve its worldwide commercial marine and cruise industry customers.

Survitec, which has a service station in Calais and a manufacturing facility in Chevanceaux, France, will be able to expand its presence in the French market by using Servaux Safety & Ship Services’ facilities in Marseille and Le Havre.

As part of the ServauxSurvitec alliance, both firms’ facilities will provide inspection, servicing and sales of all brands within the Survitec portfolio, including DSB, SurvitecZodiac, RFD and Eurovinil. In future, this will be extended to include additional Survitec lifesaving solutions, enabling the company to offer a complete range of onboard survival equipment.

“For more than 40 decades, Survitec Group and Servaux Safety & Ship Services S4 have experienced a mutually beneficial relationship and both companies recognise that forming a stronger alliance in these regions will create a significant opportunity to serve customers on a local and global scale,” said Simon Withey, Survitec Group CEO. “The French market is important to Survitec as Marseille and Le Havre are rapidly expanding ports, especially in the cruise and ferry sector.”

Over the last two years, the number of Survitec-owned service stations has increased from 12 to 38, following Survitec's acquisition of Cosalt’s marine division, DBC Marine Safety Systems, Zodiac SOLAS and Risk Safety Systems. This has enabled Survitec to expand its global network product distribution centres and increase its product line.
