Tallink Grupp’s Isabelle is to undergo maintenance work at BLRT Repairs Yards’ Turku Ship Repair Yard in Naantali, Finland.

The ship, which has not been in service for two years, is scheduled to remain in dry dock between 12 and 25 February, and will then proceed to Port of Riga, Latvia, for the reopening of Tallink’s Riga-Stockholm route on 6 April 2022. She will continue to operate on this route every other day.

The maintenance work will enhance passenger comfort.

“Isabelle has now been away from its homeport of Riga and regular Riga-Stockholm route for the extended Covid pandemic period since March of 2020,” said Captain Tarvi-Carlos Tuulik, head of ship management at Tallink Grupp. “We are excited that following the vessel’s planned docking in Finland, Isabelle can set sail at long last, for its homeport of Riga. Both the vessel and its crew are looking forward to the reopening of our Riga-Stockholm route just in time for the start of the spring and summer high season, confidently in a good shape for the delight of our Latvian and Swedish customers who can, once again, enjoy the much-missed short cruise breaks on the beautiful Baltic Sea.”
