Small-ship operator Tauck has added a new Southeast Asia route to its 2016 itineraries.
Next October and November, Tauck will sail three new 13-day ‘Treasures of Southeast Asia’ cruise, which begins with a two-night hotel stay and guided sightseeing tours in Hong Kong, enabling guests to visit Victoria Peak, Stanley Market and the Hong Kong Museum of History. Guests will then embark on a nine-night cruise along the South China Sea onboard L’Austral, calling at Hanoi, Ha Long Bay, Da Nang, Chan May and Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam.
Meanwhile, Tauck has revised its ‘Cruising Down Under’ itinerary, replacing three sea days with a four-hour flight from Australia to New Zealand to visit Queenstown, Dunedin, Akaroa and Napier. There is also an additional night’s stay in Melbourne, Australia.
The three January 2016 departures will include a seven-night, land-based tour in Australia and a nine-night New Zealand cruise onboard Le Soleal, which concludes with a two-night hotel stay and guided tours in Auckland, New Zealand.
“Our focus is always on revealing each destination and each port of call in an enriching, authentic way, highlighted by access to people, places and experiences our guests can only enjoy with Tauck,” said Dan Mahar. “We’ve been destination experts for 90 years and we match our signature land experiences with the ease and convenience of sailing aboard the most intimate and stylish small ships available.”
In total, Tauck will offer 15 cruises onboard nine ships in Northern Europe, the Mediterranean, Asia, Australia, Alaska, Antarctica and Latin America in 2016.
