Alanya Cruise Port opened its 2015 season with calls from Thomson Cruises and Hapag-Lloyd Cruises on 26 March.

Thomson Cruises’ Thomson Spirit called at the Turkish port as part of her series of regular ‘Ancient Affair’ cruises, which sail from Limassol in Cyprus to ports in Turkey, Greece and Israel. This May, the ship will homeport in Marmaris in Turkey, but will continue to call at Alanya, visiting a total of 13 times in 2015.

Hapag-Lloyd’s Europa also visited the port during her ‘A Melting Pot of Antiquity’ voyage.

“Alanya Cruise Port is dedicated to cruising, with no cargo, ferry or naval traffic, making it an ideal port of call, for both organised tours or independent guests,” said the port in a press release.
