Celebrity chef and Cunard Line partner Todd English is to sail onboard Queen Mary 2 (QM2) as part of her ‘Independence Day Celebrations’ voyage from New York to Boston, US.
To celebrate his ten-year partnership with Cunard, English will join the 1 July departure to help the ship’s culinary team to develop a new menu, which will be introduced later this summer. The chef, who established the well-know Olives restaurant, will also sign copies of his cookbook Cooking in Everyday English: The ABCs of Great Flavor at Home.
“We are delighted to welcome our long-time partner and friend, Todd English, onboard QM 2 in July,” said David Dingle, CEO, Cunard Line. “Our flagship has the distinct honour of featuring the only Todd English restaurant at sea. We look forward to having him onboard to continue celebrating the ship’s tenth anniversary.”
English, who has won four James Beard Awards and has published four books, will also participate in a question and answer session with the ship’s entertainment director.
“I am looking forward to sailing with Queen Mary 2,” Todd English said. “It’s been an absolute pleasure working with Cunard Line and the beautiful Queen Mary 2 over the past ten years, and I look forward to celebrating with the ship and meeting guests while onboard.”
