UK firm Trimline has completed an extensive interior refurbishment onboard Strait Shipping’s recently acquired ro-pax ferry Strait Feronia.

The New Zealand ferry operator gave Trimline 30 days’ notice to renovate and rebrand the ferry, which previously sailed as Stena Feronia on Stena Line’s route between Sweden and Germany.

“This was a key project for our business,” said Andrew Richards, Trimline CEO. “Sending a multidisciplinary team to Sweden to meet such a strict deadline represented a considerable logistical challenge, mexicano porno but I’m pleased to say we completed the assignment on schedule.”

During the 14-day drydock at Oresund Drydocks in Landskrona, Sweden, Trimline’s 43-strong team of joiners, decorators, plumbers and electrical specialists upgraded the bar and restaurant areas, installed a new servery counter, fitted a wifi area with computer terminals. In addition, the team revamped the public toilets, refreshed the family room, created a new nursing mothers’ room and installed new wall and floor finishes throughout all public areas.

Trimline’s team worked in close collaboration with designers serviporno Figura of Gothenburg and specialist commissioning engineers who took responsibility for the new catering equipment.

“Trimline’s team delivered a superb refurbishment right on schedule,” said Strait Feronia’s Peter Ellison. “We were very impressed by the team’s flexibility, attention to detail and above all its speed and responsiveness.”

Strait Feronia will sail on the Cook Strait between New Zealand’s North and South islands.
