UK-based firm Trimline has completed its largest-ever interior refurbishment for cruise operator Seabourn.

This spring, a 200-strong team from Trimline renovated all the public areas, passenger suites and crew areas onboard Seabourn Quest while she was in dry dock in Genoa, Italy. Work involved upgrading the ship’s flooring, upholstery, plumbing, tiling, electrical wiring and decorative elements.

Some key highlights onboard the revitalised vessel include more luxurious elevators and new partitioned treatment areas in the spa.

“This Seabourn Quest refit is the largest refit that Trimline has carried out for Seabourn and we are delighted with the level of finish delivered by our experienced team,” said Simon Dawkins, Trimline’s key account manager. “Having carried out several refits for Seabourn now, we are familiar with the ultra-luxury standards of the fleet and are able to overcome any challenges quickly onboard.”

Trimline completed the refit in just six days.

“I’ve always appreciated the working relationship that we have with Trimline,” said Linh Nguyen, Holland America Group’s senior interior operations specialist. “This time on Seabourn Quest, projects were completed in a timely manner.”
