Interior outfitter Trimline has completed a renovation of 56 suites onboard Hapag-Lloyd Cruises Europa at a shipyard in Hamburg, Germany.
A team of sixty workers from Trimline spent two weeks carrying out the renovations, which included the installation of new flooring, fixed furniture, soft furnishings and light fittings. Trimline’s on-site managers made use of the Trimline App software to assign tasks to specific trades and individuals during the refit, while Hapag-Lloyd was able to monitor progress and recording area inspections to sign-off. In addition, the cruise line was able to request and receive enhancements to their personal dashboards during the refit.
“We are very happy with the renovated suites on Europa, which now have such a modern, light and beautiful atmosphere and look,” said Gabi Haupt, lead product management for Europa at Hpag-Lloyd Cruises. “During the implementation in the yard, it was a pleasure for our team working with Trimline on this challenging project and we would like to express our sincere thank you to the whole team.”
Trimline was able to complete the works 24 hours ahead of schedule, allowing Hapag-Lloyd Cruises to hand over the vessel to their housekeeping team earlier than planned.
