Marine interior refit company Trimline has signed an agreement with Carnival UK to provide an onboard interior maintenance service for five of its UK fleet, including Cunard’s Queen Mary 2, Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth, as well as P&O Cruises’ Azura and Ventura.

As part of the contract, Trimline will maintain passenger areas and cabins, executing repair work while the ship is in service, or spends the day in a turnaround port. All work will be carried out by skilled personnel and completed within tight time frames, with minimal service disruption.

Trimline also supplies an online emergency fault reporting system, which establishes a direct line of communication between the ship and shoreside staff, enabling them to plan maintenance efficiently and minimise fault rectification periods.

“This agreement secures an already strong relationship that Trimline has built with Carnival UK over many years of trading,” said Trimline’s managing director Gary Oliver. “We understand the demands and expectations of passengers and are looking forward to ensuring the ships are in first class condition, cruise after cruise.”
