Swedish firm to provide cargo, passenger and crew access solutions for Mein Schiff 5 and Mein Schiff 6

TTS Marine is to provide cargo, crew and passenger access equipment for TUI Cruises’ latest newbuilds, Mein Schiff 5 and Mein Schiff 6.
The vessels, which will be delivered by Meyer Turku in 2016 and 2017, will be equipped with the same shell doors, platforms, covers, elevators, and luggage and provision side-loading systems as TTS installed onboard Mein Schiff 3 and Mein Schiff 4. Like their sister ships, both newbuilds will also feature telescopic aluminium gangways, which can be used as onboard gangways, or to connect the ship’s passenger door to the terminal.
“We are pleased to be chosen to provide access equipment also for the next two flagships of the TUI Cruises fleet and take this as a confirmation that the customer is satisfied with the solutions we developed for the first two ships,” said Mats Olsson, cruise sales manager at TTS.
