Small ship cruise operator Un-Cruise Adventures has introduced itineraries in Costa Rica and Panama in late 2015 and Galápagos Islands in 2016.

Debuting in 2016, Un-Cruise Adventure’s inclusive nine-night Ecuador voyage will enable guests to visit Quito and the Galápagos Islands, which are both UNESCO World Heritage Sites. As part of the itinerary, guests will spend two nights at Casa Gangotena, a 31-room boutique hotel in Quito’s historic centre, and enjoy a full day of dining and tours in the city, prior to their seven-night island cruise onboard the 48-passenger La Pinta. After departing San Cristóbal Island, La Pinta will sail to Española, Genovesa, Santa Cruz, Bartolomé, Santiago and Chinese Hat Islet. Guests can also opt to extend their holiday by adding a three-night cruise on the Napo River in the Amazon, or a six-night journey to Machu Picchu.

The line has also introduced seven-day trips onboard the 64-guest Safari Voyager to Costa Rica and Panama beginning in December 2015.

“New adventures in Central and South America are a welcome addition, especially for returning guests who are ready for a new Un-Cruise destination,” said Captain Dan Blanchard, CEO of Un-Cruise. “These small group adventures will also be trips of a lifetime with our unique multi-sport exploration in nature’s most enriching hideaways.”

In addition, Un-Cruise Adventures’ fleet of seven adventure vessels and one replica coastal steamer will sail to a variety of other destinations in 2015 and spring 2016 including Alaska, Mexico’s Sea of Cortés, Hawaiian Islands, the Columbia & Snake Rivers, coastal Washington and British Columbia.

From April to September 2015, two of the line’s boutique yachts and four small ships will sail adventure cruises from homeports in Ketchikan, Sitka and Juneau, Alaska. Each itinerary will focus on providing guests with opportunities for wildlife sightings and adventurous activities, rather than port calls.

Between April and November 2015, the 88-guest SS Legacy will sail weeklong roundtrips from Portland, US, visiting towns and points of historical interest on the Columbia and Snake Rivers. The vessel will call at Hells Canyon, the deepest river gorge in North America.

Safari Explorer, which carries 36 guests, will sail seven-day adventure cruises between Moloka’i and Hawai‘i from November 2015 to April 2016. Guests travelling on the itinerary will also call at the islands of Lana‘i and Maui.

Mexico’s Sea of Cortés will feature on the 84-guest Safari Endeavour’s itineraries from November 2015 to March 2016. The ship will call at the remote desert islands on weeklong adventures from San José del Cabo, Baja.

Next spring and autumn, the US port of Seattle will serve as a base for both the 60-guest Wilderness Adventurer, which will explore various islands and destinations along the coast of Washington, and the 22-passenger Safari Quest, which will sail to British Columbia and Princess Louisa Inlet in Canada.

Un-Cruise Adventures has also planned a number of ‘Kids in Nature’ cruises for families travelling with children aged under 12, while other voyages are themed around bird-watching, craft beer, music, Lewis & Clark, marine biology, photography and wine.
