TV and radio presenter Verena Kerth is to join two of AIDA Cruises’ shopping voyages to provide fashion tips and shopping advice this year.
Kerth, who has showcased her fashion and styling skills on TV show Promi Shopping Queen, will accompany cruise guests on shopping trips during AIDAmar’s 5-12 March voyage and AIDAprima’s 28 May to 4 June itinerary.
Each of the itineraries will start with an onboard welcome event and include hairstyling and make-up workshops, exclusive VIP shopping at the AIDA Shops with a sparkling wine reception, and personal assistance from the AIDA shop manager.
Guests will also enjoy a visit to Galerie Lafayette in Paris, France; a tour from Zeebrugge in Belgium to Roubaix, Holland; a visit to the Magna Plaza department store in Amsterdam; and a day at England’s Bicester Village, a shopping outlet with more than 130 boutiques selling high fashion items.
Various other celebrities are to join AIDA’s cruises this year, including actress Michaela May who will sail on the ‘Celebrities Read’ voyage from Gran Canaria to Majorca, Spain this April. Meanwhile, Birgit Fischer, the world’s top female canoeist, will join AIDAdiva’s ‘Leichterleben’ (lighter living) voyage between the Dominican Republic and Tenerife, Spain, via Barbados. Champion long jumper Heike Drechsler will join a similar 17-day ‘Leichterleben’ roundtrip from Kiel, Germany in May and June. In addition, athlete Steffi Nerius will join AIDavita’s 14-day Norwegian voyage, which departs Kiel on 30 July.
