Virgin Voyages’ Valiant Lady has made its inaugural call to the British Virgin Islands, making the brand the first new cruise line to visit the territory in 2024. It was also the first maiden call of 2024.
A traditional plaque and key exchange ceremony took place onboard while the ship was docked at the Cruise Pier in Tortola. A plaque was presented to Virgin Voyages owner Sir Richard Branson and the captain of Valiant Lady, Justin Lawes, by the Premier and Minister of Finance, Hon. Dr. Natalio Wheatley.
The British Virgin Islands is the first destination on Valiant Lady’s seven-night ‘Southeastern Caribbean Isles’ itinerary. The roundtrip cruise sails from San Juan in Puerto Rico, calling at Guadeloupe, Barbados, St. Lucia, and Antigua and Barbuda.
