Royal Caribbean International’s Vision of the Seas made her inaugural call visit at the UK’s Port of Dover on 16 August.
The 78,491 gt vessel was greeted by Clare Newman, the port’s manager of business delivery, who presented Captain Lis Lauritzen with a plaque commemorating the occasion.
“The Port of Dover is committed to providing the best facilities and services in the world to match what we consider to be the best view in the world for cruise customers visiting the UK,” said Tim Waggott, the port’s chief executive. “Dover is a gateway to many wonderful local attractions, which we promote through our award-winning destination partnership with Visit Kent.”
