Award-winning film director Wes Anderson is to sail onboard Cunard Line’s flagship Queen Mary 2 (QM2) during her 13 June trans-Atlantic crossing.
Anderson, who previously travelled on one of Queen Elizabeth 2’s last voyages will be joined by Academy Award-winning actress, producer and cultural activist Tilda Swinton. In addition, actor and musician Jason Schwartzman and Roman Coppola, an American film director, producer and screenplay writer, will also sail on the voyage. all three have frequently collaborated with Anderson, most recently working with him on his new film 'The Grand Budapest Hotel'.
“This is going to be my first time onboard QM2, but I have been looking forward to having this chance since before the ship was even launched over ten years ago,” Anderson said. “I’m especially happy to be able to travel this way with my great friends.”
Passengers will be able to participate in a Q&A sessions with the group in the ship’s Royal Court Theatre, as well as multiple film screenings, including a showing of 'The Grand Budapest Hotel'.

This summer, Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter James Taylor will sail on QM2’s 27 August trans-Atlantic crossing.
