Royal Caribbean International’s newest ship Wonder of the Seas will feature more than 20 dining venues when she debuts in March 2022, including the first-ever The Mason Jar Southern Restaurant & Bar.

The new venue will feature rustic farmhouse décor that includes a porch with a swing for lounging, along with live country music and a dedicated bar. The menu will feature a range of dishes from the southern states of America, including savoury johnnycakes and a sweet-tooth cinnamon roll at brunch, and southern fried chicken, crab beignets and shrimp and grits at dinner. There will also be a collection of more than a dozen American whiskeys and a selection of other southern drinks.

Among the other dining venues available onboard will be The Vue, a new cantilevered bar; Giovanni’s Italian Kitchen & Wine Bar, the first to appear on an Oasis-class ship; and Playmakers Sports Bar & Arcade, which will offer bar food and draft beers alongside sports coverage on big screens. The ship will also offer Mexican restaurant El Loco Fresh, which for the first time will feature a dedicated bar called Cantina Fresca offering a selection of Mexican beverages. Other venues will include The Lime & Coconut bar, Wonderland, Izumi, Chops Grille, 150 Central Park, Johnny Rockets, Starbucks, and Sugar Beach.

Wonder of the Seas will initially homeport in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, until April 2022, before moving to Barcelona, Spain, and Rome, Italy, until October. The ship will then finally relocate to Port Canaveral, Florida, where she will stay year-round from November.
