Zegrahm Expeditions, which offers small-ship cruising and overland adventures, has released its 2014 itinerary programme.
The line’s 100-guest ships – Sea Adventurer, Isabela II, Island Sky, and Caledonian Sky – will offer a total of 14 voyages across the seven continents during the 2014 season.
Passengers can opt for a two-part cruise, which circumnavigates New Guinea, calling at the region’s coral reefs and the remote villages in the Trobriands, Rabaul, and the Asmat.
Zegrahm will also offer itineraries in Russia’s White Sea, as well as its first seven-day cruise around the Seychelles islands on its Ultimate Aldabra expedition.
The line’s popular 17-day Pearls of Polynesia: Fiji to Tahiti itinerary will also feature a new ‘voluntourism’ opportunity, enabling travellers to contribute to ecological preservation efforts on Suwarrow Atoll in the Cook Islands.
“From Antarctica to the Black Sea and Madagascar to the Galapagos, we are offering travel to some of the world’s most remote and exotic places in 2014,” said Edwin Blythe, Zegrahm’s president. “Not only are we introducing new itineraries and bringing back a few past favourites, but with more voyages aboard the Island Sky and Caledonian Sky, we can simultaneously be exploring several different regions of the world and capitalise on the best time of year to be there.”
