1 6 2 Visitors to the Port of Dover can explore the history of the local area with trips to some of Britain’s iconic landmarks S ituated in south-east Kent, the Port of Dover is England’s gateway to the world and is ideally placed for a cruise to destinations in England and beyond. With capacity to accommodate three cruise ships at one time, the port can offer a range of varied activities and excursions. If they wish to stay in the local area, visitors can head to the White Cliffs to take in the fresh sea air and views of nature and seascapes toward France. Dover Castle is an equally iconic British landmark, having been a stronghold since Roman times.
