Cruise & Ferry Review - Spring/Summer 2025

Last year, turnkey interior outfitting company Aros Marine completed 73 projects (including 50 interior refits and 23 HVAC jobs) across 12 countries, with an average of 480 specialists working on each project. And now, with its revenue for 2025 nearing €100 million ($108 million), Aros Marine is making strides to provide tailored services to ship operators globally. Its newest office is in Southampton, England, and it officially opened in January 2025. “Expanding Aros Marine into the UK was a strategic decision that aligns with our long-term growth and positioning in the global maritime sector,” says Darren Smith, vice president of sales in the UK at Aros Marine. “Southampton stood out as the perfect choice for our UK base due to its proximity to the cruise industry, strategic location, ties to the UK cruise companies, marine expertise and skilled workers. “This expansion enables us to deepen our connection with the British cruise industry, access a wealth of expertise and position ourselves for sustained growth in the global maritime market.” The new Southampton office follows on from Aros Marine opening a new base in Gdansk, Poland, in summer 2023. “Both locations offer strong maritime industries, skilled workforces and strategic advantages,” says Marcin Lipnicki, CEO of Aros Marine, Poland. “Gdansk boasts a rich shipbuilding heritage, growing maritime sector and proximity to major European shipyards, ensuring operational efficiency and market access. “Our new offices enhance localised service, faster response times and stronger industry relationships. By leveraging regional expertise, we improve project efficiency and strengthen our partnerships with shipyards and suppliers.” Smith adds: “The expansion also helps to strengthen our sustainability commitment, environmental focus, local community and industry engagement, and tailoring solutions for the UK and European markets.” REPORT Embarking on a global expansion Aros Marine has opened new offices in Poland and England as it looks to build on its growth and provide tailored services to ship operators globally Visualisations showing the interior of Aros Marine’s new offices 111
