Cruise & Ferry Interiors 2024

Interior design has a crucial role in creating the most memorable moments for guests on their voyage and, in the 2024 issue of Cruise & Ferry Interiors, we explore the many ways in which designers can deliver unforgettable memories for guests. This theme has inspired the stellar cover image concept from interior designer Liz Schneider, who discusses how she hopes to create memories through design in our cover story.

In our keynote, Marco Pastorini shares his shipbuilding memories from his time at the helm of Independent Maritime Advisors. The movement towards longer-lasting interiors is the focus of our lead feature, with perspectives from a range of passenger shipping professionals.

Elsewhere, we take a closer look at six newbuilds, share design perspectives from industry experts, and hear from designers, outfitters and suppliers in our interior commentaries and interviews. We profile companies involved in the interiors sector in the CFI Featured Partners section, before rounding off the issue with a conversation with wayfinding and signage pioneer, Tom Graboski, who reflects on his 40-year career.
